In striving to create the ultimate party, things get out of control. Vehicles get thrown into the pool, helicopters are called in to put out fires, people get tweezed and police get involved. The Hunger Games is the new movie that everyone is talking about. The movie is set in the future. It is about Panem, a nation in whose capital the ‘Hunger Games’ are set. They are just not ordinary games, but rather a matter of life and death where teenagers are supposed to fight to the death.
In the capital, teenagers between the ages of twelve and eighteen are selected from each of the twelve districts of the nation. The selection is random and those selected as “tributes” are expected to fight each other until only one of them is left standing.
