After the previous story taking place at Lake Victoria, Piranha 3DD presents a new story of the same problematic fish. This time, the shoal moves uphill, in Big Wet. Big Wet is one of the most important local aquatic parks, with hundreds of visitors everyday. Although people use to get there for a bath, some tan and a lot of fun, the personnel and the tourists end up getting more than they actually expected. The fight against the most aggressive and bloody piranha comes as a new challenge no one even thought about.
Piranha 3DD tells the story of Maddy. Maddy knows exactly what she is doing. She is the type of stubborn leader who is very calculated and strict in her decisions. Along with her friends Barry and Kyle, the three heroes must dive in the lake and confront the fierce creatures with all their powers. But can they be stopped? The fish doesn’t seem to be such a big problem, yet the aggressive shoals of piranha have no competition.
Piranha 3DD begins with a happy and green environment. The aquatic park seems to be the most peaceful one in the world. However, a few shoals of piranha have different plans. The happy environment turns into a bloody one. Only time can tell whether Maddy and her friends have the power to turn the horrifying park into what it was before. If the previous part of the movie had an amazing success, this one is expected to be even better, especially since the terror is double this time.
