The scene pick up where it left when Zeus who is a demigod, after slaying the monstrous Kraken, adopts a quieter life working a s a simple village fisherman who is singlehandedly trying to raise Helius, his 10-year old son. The gods and titans however, on the other side of the world, are fighting for power and supremacy. This necessitates his involvement again to try and bring back normalcy.
The gods are slowly losing control of the situation due to the humankind’s lack of devotion to the course and the Titans who are imprisoned have begun to sense this, particularly their leader Kronos-who is the father of the brothers Zeus, Poseidon and Hades. The three had conducted a coup on their father and thrown him into the deep underworld after taking over. In a weird twist however, Perseus along with Hades and Zeus’s son Ares switch their loyalty when they decide to work with Kronos to escape and capture Zeus. Hell is unleashed on the world when the titans grow stronger while the godly powers evaporate.
Perseus enlists the help of queen Andromeda, played by Rosamund Pike, Argenor, played by Toby Kebbell and Hephaestus, played by Bill Nighy on a treacherous mission to rescue Zeus, imprison the Titans again and finally save the humans.
